📌 Note: Number of vacancies against each trade/discipline may change i.e. increased or decreased as per the requirement of the corporation. OPTCL will pay 50% stipend to Degree/Diploma/Non-Engineering Apprentices, and the rest 50% will be paid by BOPT through DBT.

Nationality: Indian Nationals belonging to the state of Odisha are only eligible to apply.

Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age.

📌 Important Eligibility Conditions:
- The prescribed qualification shall be from a recognized Board/Council/University/Institute as a regular full-time course.
- Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act 1961 or job experience for a period of one year or more shall not be eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are appearing for the requisite essential qualifying examination will not be eligible to apply.
- The candidate should have the passing certificate/final year mark sheet of the required qualification as on 01.07.2026.
- The gap between the date of joining Apprenticeship Training and passing date of essential qualifying examination should not be more than 3 years and passed during Academic Year 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26.
- Candidates must have registered at NAPS/NATS portal and the bank account must be seeded with Aadhaar Number for DBT.

📘 Training Details
- The period of apprenticeship training shall be one year (12 months).
- The training period shall commence from the online contract date of Apprenticeship Training.
- Apprentices shall be entitled to a stipend from the start of the online contract date.
- It shall not be obligatory on the part of OPTCL to offer employment to any apprentice after completion of training.
- Apprentices cannot claim right for employment on the ground of completion of Apprenticeship Training.
- Training will be provided at different Units and offices of OPTCL spread across Odisha.
- No accommodation or allowance in lieu thereof shall be provided to the engaged apprentices.
