Minimum Marks Requirement:
- M.E./M.Tech.: Aggregate minimum 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
- M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech.: Aggregate minimum 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
Additional Qualification for JRF (Post Code 01 to 07):
Applicants must have qualified one of the following (valid as on 30.09.2026):
- National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
- National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.

📌 Note: HRA at prescribed rates will be paid if hostel accommodation is not provided. Medical benefits for self only will be allowed as per extant rules. The fellowship amount shall be taken as Basic Pay for this purpose. Leave and other benefits will be granted as per extant DOS/GOI rules. Selected candidates will not be entitled to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular employees.
