Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Southern Railway has released the official notification for engagement of 4,471 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2026-27 .
The apprenticeship training is being offered in various trades across Divisions, Workshops, and Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway .

📌 Selection Process
- Merit List – Based on marks obtained in Matriculation (Fresher) or Matriculation + ITI (Ex-ITI)
- Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification
- Medical Examination – As per Railway standards
📌 Important Notes:
- This is purely for Apprenticeship training and NOT for employment
- 20% of vacancies in Level 1 posts may be filled giving preference to course completed act apprentices (CCAAs)
- Candidates must produce original transfer certificate for completion of qualifying examination during document verification
