IIIT Bhagalpur Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhagalpur, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the official notification for engagement of 21 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for a period of 12 months .
The apprenticeship training is being offered in various departments including Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Library, Finance, Administration, and Store & Purchase .
Eligible candidates can apply online through the NATS 2.0 Portal from 21 August 2026 to 09 September 2026 .

📌 Selection Process
- Shortlisting – Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree/Diploma examination
- Merit List – Prepared solely on academic merit
- Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents
- Medical Fitness – Medical certificate from a Government Hospital required
📌 Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- If two or more applicants have the same percentage, the applicant senior in age will be given preference

- Visit the NATS 2.0 Portal: Go to nats.education.gov.in .
- Register/Login: Register as a student on the NATS 2.0 portal (if not already registered).
- Search for IIIT Bhagalpur: Search for IIIT Bhagalpur apprenticeship openings under the advertisement.
- Fill Application: Fill in personal details, educational qualification, and department preference.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required certificates.
- Submit: Review all details and submit the application before 09 September 2026 .
- Take Printout: Download and save the submitted application form for future reference.
📄 Documents Required at the Time of Verification
- Print-out of ONLINE application form submitted at NATS 2.0 portal
- Print out showing the status of Bank Account seeded with Aadhar and DBT enabled
- Class X-Mark sheet or Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
- Qualifying Diploma/Graduation Marksheet and Certificate
- Caste Category Certificate (if applicable)
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (issued after 01.04.2026, if applicable)
- PwBD Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card
- Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Hospital
- Conversion Certificate (if CGPA/Percentage conversion is required)
📌 Important Notes
- The apprenticeship training duration is 12 months from the date of joining
- No accommodation or travel allowance will be provided
- Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee any employment at IIIT Bhagalpur
- All correspondence will be communicated through e-mail only
- Candidates must have an active Aadhaar seeded bank account (DBT enabled)
- The contract of Apprenticeship will be made with the Regional Apprenticeship Advisor, Board of Apprenticeship Training (ER), Kolkata
